How can I change the background and text color using Adobe Reader 9?

Hi - I did this fine but when i print it the original colours come out. Is there something I'm missing?

Rowan, U are a genius and I am not kidding - this is NOT intuitive at all.

Open up Adobe Reader 9 and go to Edit > Preferences > Accessibility. You will be able to specify what color you want to use for the page background and what color you want the document text to be.
