Everytime I try to combine files. a word, excel and PDF's into one document the program freezes. any ideas?

The problem could be that one of the files is corrupt in some way and Acrobat can't process them correctly, so the combining process fails. Try removing one file at a time from your combine list until it merges successfully to locate the corrupt file.
