printing pdf files with windows 7 adobe 9

I am having issues printing pdf files using adobe 9 reader with windows 7, some of the file is printing but most of it is dashes and lines... the printer is HP officejet 5510, I have updated all print drivers

Does this issue occur with every PDF file that you try to print? If so, then that's quite unusual. Can you print something from Microsoft Word or Notepad to this printer and get successful results?

If you only experience problems printing when using Adobe Reader 9 then I'd recommend downloading Foxit Reader and checking to see if you experience the same problem. If printing using Foxit Reader is successful then this would rule out the problem being related to the actual printer.

I also have problems printing pdf files. Practically I cannot print any pdf file, and I tried it with at least two pdf reader.

I upgraded from Vista 64 to Win 7 Prof 64 just because I could not print any pdf file. I could print ( HTML content) from firefox, from Word, but I could not print any pdf file. A tried it with Adobe Acrobat 9.2 and Foxit reader. The symptoms are the same.

Very strange.

Now I still cannot print pdf files in Win 7 64 bit. (I cannot print with Acrobat nor Foxit reader)
