When I try to scan the error message appears: Adobe Acrobat 9.0 has stopped working..on either my Vista or Windows 7 machines. The scanner then scans but Acrobat will close - no choice. Scanner is Samsung SCX-4521F

Have you loaded twain drivers for theSamsung scanner. If not you might try that. I scan from two different scanners, but have loaded the twain drivers for both.
